Preparing Your Ward:
We believe that every student has the potential to become an exceptional storyteller. Our aim is to train the students in the art of narration, guiding them to master accents, gestures, and voice modulation. This preparation will undoubtedly enhance their storytelling skills, creating an unforgettable experience for our little audience. This will also help them get rid of their stage fear! Their English Teachers will help them with their preps as well.
Event Structure:
Preliminary Round: In the initial round, the students will have the opportunity to narrate their chosen stories in their respective classes. This stage will serve as a stepping stone to the final round.
Finals: The final round will feature the top six students from each class. Winners will be awarded prizes on a class-wise basis, recognizing their talents and efforts.
A word about Story Narration
Story narration events can be incredibly beneficial for students in the primary section in several ways.
Language Development: Story narration events help in improving students' language skills, including vocabulary, grammar, and sentence construction. Listening to stories and retelling them encourages the use of expressive language.
Cognitive Development: Narrating stories enhances cognitive abilities such as comprehension, critical thinking, and imagination. It allows students to explore different scenarios, characters, and plotlines.
Creativity and Imagination: Storytelling fosters creativity and imagination as students can create their own stories or variations of existing ones. This helps them think beyond the immediate context and develop innovative ideas.
Listening and Attention Skills: Listening to stories attentively is a crucial skill for young learners. Story narration events encourage students to focus and concentrate, improving their listening abilities.
Empathy and Emotional Understanding: Through stories, students can connect with characters' emotions and experiences. This cultivates empathy and emotional intelligence, helping them understand different perspectives.
Memory and Recall: Narrating stories requires students to remember details and sequence events in the right order. This enhances their memory and recall abilities.
Confidence Building: Sharing a story in front of peers or an audience helps students build confidence in public speaking and self-expression.
Morals and Values: Many stories convey moral lessons and values. Students can learn important life lessons and ethical principles through these narratives.

Overall, story narration events play a vital role in the holistic development of primary section students, contributing to their intellectual, emotional, and social growth. So, encourage your wards well enough to take part in this exciting event!
