Spelling Bee!

A spelling bee is a competition where contestants, usually children, are asked to spell English words. The concept is thought to have originated in the United States. Today, our Academic Director Mrs.Leslie Jacobs conducted the Spelling Bee Contest for Classes V to X. 
The contest was held under two categories: 

Category I - Classes V, VI, VII

Category II - Classes VIII, IX and X.

This year the English Exhibition was added to our annual event for the first time and proved to be

a fantastic and talented display of our students' love of English literature, poetry, riddles, grammar and even Shakespeare.

I congratulate all those who worked hard on the room displays including the students and especially their English teacher Mrs.Sunita for

a very creative event, which we must definitely continue in all the years to come!

An Incredible Day at School!

In India, Children's Day is celebrated on 14th November, because the date marks the birth anniversary of legendary freedom fighter and independent India’s first Prime Minister – Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru. As a tribute to Nehru and his love for children, Children’s Day is celebrated on his birth date.This day reminds to each and every one of us, to renew our commitment to the welfare of children and teach them to live by their Chacha Nehru’s quality and dream.
